Buying raw materials for a project can be as easy as running to Lowes or Home Depot to buy milled and smooth lumber that has been surfaced. We prefer to use the local sawmills around Nashville for rough lumber with a wider selection and better prices. Of course harvesting wood from a fallen tree is another option, but requires sweat equity plus time for the wood to dry! We’ll recommend the best option for your project.
