I have a build that requires 3" square legs using black walnut. It was going to be expensive to purchase them so I am going to build them. I am going to attempt to use Green Frog tape for the glue up.
The outsides are cut to 3" with 45 degree sides. The inside of each board is 1 1/2". The goal is to add 1 1/2" square walnut in the center for support.

It takes multiple tools to create the doors for the #chestnut cabinet. I use the @woodpeckers_tools Iron-Grip Coping Sled to cut the tongues on the rails and grooves on both rails and stiles. After discovering my router bit set had a child in it, I purchased the @whitesiderouterbits 5990 shaker stile and rail set. Works great!
Then squared them up and glued then together using my @besseytools_northamerica band clamps.
And... they look pretty good on the cabinet.

I purchased the HoseJoy dust collection accessory to test and am very pleased with the results.
I have been very pleased with how well these connectors stay connected and perform while using my finishing sander. I am excited to use them on my other tools. They did recommend that I change out my existing hose and use the powertec hose.

I have them both and use them both. I get it, it's the glue that makes that joint strong. However I like the way the domino and the biscuit keep my wood pieces level with each other in the clamps. Just my .02 and in my shop, that's what matters 😊
