In an earlier video I discussed creating a lazy susan with the @milescraft circle jig. The link for that video is here https://youtu.be/qGKIg4DMZfY

This video discusses how I install the actual lazy susan hardware. I used the TamBee Lazy Susan Bearing 18 Inch - Heavy Duty Lazy Susan Base & Hardware, Silent Turntable for Smooth Rotation (Aluminum Alloy, 380LB Capacity) ----- link here https://amzn.to/3KGsy1p

Easy Lazy Susan hardware install

In the past when asked to create a Lazy Susan or anything as a circle I have used my band saw. However because this project called for a 24" x 1 1/2" piece, I needed an easier and safer way to accomplish the work.

So I decided to purchase the @milescraft 1219 Circle Guide Kit- Precision Router Circle Cutting Jig. This jig will create a circle from 1 1/2" to 52"

The kit provides everything you need (except the router) to get the job done. The only item I updated was the router bit. The one provided with the kit worked well with the 3/4" wood I tested it on, but it would not go deep enough for the 1 1/2" material I used.
In this case I purchased the Whiteside RU2100 Spiral Upcut Straight Router Bit

Also - I forgot to mention in the video that I used a 1" foam board under the board.
